September brings with it a sense of renewal, like a fresh page in a journal waiting to be filled. The group yoga classes at Joy Core begin, and my art is up at Tranzac Club in Toronto. For me, it's not just a month; it's the real beginning of the year, it's a time to reflect on the past season, to see how far we've come, and to prepare for what lies ahead.
This summer, I made it a point to find balance between work and rest, and it was incredibly fulfilling. Perhaps it's the wisdom that comes with age, but it felt right. One of the most heartwarming aspects of my summer was reconnecting with the stories of transformation shared by students in the Joy Core Yoga Program.
As we kick off International Yoga Month, I wanted to start with the perspective of someone who embarked on this journey later in life.
