This Week's Little Life Notes From Me to You
These crocuses signal that it's almost here! I've got my leaf bags ready for when it's 10 degrees or more for a few days so I can get right out there and clean up the garden. I don't want to disturb any pollinators who are still in hibernation, but it's hard to wait.
I'm excited to start a new term of yoga classes next week. You can sign up now, I'm available for a chat about your health and circumstances- schedule an appointment here. There' also a free class this coming Wednesday- the focus will be breathwork but we'll stretch out gently so we can sit comfortably.
What sets Joy Core Yoga Programs apart is a very particular focus on the breath.
The enjoyment of being in your own skin- moving, stretching, feeling your body; shifting your thinking in positive and healthy ways, that's what Body Breath Basics classes are intended for.
It will take 3-4 classes for you to become used to it which is why a commitment to at least a month of classes is required to participate.
You can get together with me online to learn more about the classes and decide if they’re the right fit for you.

The people who come to Joy Core Connection have an important mindset in common- they choose to personally take charge of their life using their own body and mind to do what they can to feel better. They understand that with guidance and the willingness to put an hour every week into yoga they will support their ability to heal.
Folks come with different concerns, some with physical issues and pain, others have intentions to heal emotionally.
What they share is that they've decided on the inside to change. It’s about being realistic about where you're at physically and mentally and taking responsibility to make changes.
It's not everyone who is ready to invest time and energy in themselves but that commitment to yourself is a must. People who've 'heard good things' about yoga come and go, the ones who really want to transform their life focus listen and try my suggestions. They struggle and laugh and ask questions and we figure out what will work for their hip, mindset, or even heartache.
You might know right at the start that this yoga fits and the breathing works.
Or you might take a few weeks to feel the benefits and know that this breathwork aligns with your intentions, feels amazing and supports you in self-healing. When you’re in the right place at the right time it’s magical. You can feel your aura expand and every cell in your body vibrate with energy.
Because of all this people who stick with it are willing to invest in themselves and the classes. They love the great value they get, only one hour to hit four of the super-relaxer-restorer superstars- stretch, strength, breathwork and meditation.

Some students practice every day, others do a weekly class or two, either way what you'll find and create at Joy Core Connection is the ability to shift your energy all with the added benefit of a good body stretch and relaxation. It's up to you what you do with that magic after class.
New Students and those returning after a year receive a free class when signing up before April for a 6 week term.
