Gardening is in full swing and the perennial bed is offering it's new feature every week or so. Watching the Ornamental Thistles budding the symmetry and rhythm of life unfolds.  

The cycles of life, from seed to bud to fruit, is life's expression, a moving target that can't be contained or controlled. It's a moment to moment experience to savour, so slow down and do something you really enjoy, spend time alone, with friends, enjoy a good meal and a walk in the fine weather.

These are the simple pleasures that uplift your life. Enjoy the Victoria Long weekend!


🧘‍♂️Take the Time Now to Look at These Four Aspects of Wellness and Giver Yourself a Score Out of Ten💪 

What is wellness to you and how would you define it? For some people it's a 'good day', when pain is less, and for others it’s a feeling of strength and vigour after a workout.

Wellness can be looked at as an approach to life, a framework that helps you personally develop in balance with your inner and outer needs.

At a recent visit to a friend who is a busy alternative health entrepreneur, it turned out she was worn right out. “I’m tired of being spiritual’ were her words.

Spirituality is an important part of our wellness. Unfortunately, when the body is ill or showing wear and tear, when our optimism is worn thin, when time to socialize and enjoy life is sacrificed, then spiritual health suffers too.

Take the time now to look at these four aspects of wellness and giver yourself a score out of ten.

Physical Wellness: A healthy body that is capable of daily activities with ease. May avoid sickness with enough sleep, eating healthy food and enough physical activities. A well body is a where most people think to start.

Social Wellness: This emphasizes the coexistence of you, society, and the environment you are living in. The relationships we want to be enjoying with other people- our loved one, friends, family and others.

Mental Wellness: Your thoughts and emotions are relevant. Taking care of your mental health is as important as having a healthy body. Our mind/brain is essential for critical thinking and decision making, and influences the body's wellness too.

Are you well in all aspects of your life?

Doing a self-check, you might find an area you wish to improve on for better overall wellness- because you are always looking to grow and heal.

Whatever the results of your assessment, taking time to consider where you are and your vision going forwards is an opportunity. Selfcare is something you do for yourself, no one else can, but the skills and tools to do that are right here, and there is help.
